Where to Stay for Aspen’s 4th of July 2026
Aspen Music Festival & School | July 1–August 23, 2026
Eight weeks. 400+ events. Three orchestras. Recitals, operas, chamber music, family concerts, and free student performances happening all over downtown all summer long.
The AMFS is one of the most respected classical music institutions in the world — this isn’t a regional festival, it’s a world-class event.

Classical Saturdays on the Mountain | Saturdays, Mid-July Through Early September
AMFS students perform free classical concerts at the top of Aspen Mountain every Saturday at 1 p.m. Gondola ticket required.

Up in the Sky Festival | August 7–8, 2026
In just its second year, Aspen’s newest music festival is already a destination event.
Two days of live performances at the base of Buttermilk featuring John Summit, Empire of the Sun, Passion Pit, Dom Dolla, Polo & Pan, and more.
Electronic, indie, and dance music set against mountain views. VIP and Cabin packages available.

Plein Air Art Festival | August 8–9, 2026 (Snowmass)
