Aspen enjoys gorgeous weather all year round. Summer temperatures in the valleys reach into the 70’s and mid 80’s, with occasional afternoon thunderstorms and delightfully cool evenings. Of course, during winter we experience some cold mountain weather, but daytime temperatures are often surprisingly warm and as we get more days of sunshine than almost anywhere in the country you can often eat lunch outside during the winter months.
The relative humidity is quite low throughout the year, and this, combined with consistently great snowfall, results in the ‘powder’ snow for which our skiing is famous. Of course we’re in the middle of the Rocky Mountains so do come properly equipped for whatever outdoor and higher elevation activities you’re planning!
