While the Rocky Mountains are fading to their usual golden colors
of the fall, Lift One is preparing for another exciting winter.
The ‘05-‘06 Winter Season ended as one of the snowiest
and most successful winters on record. We are so excited to have
the property full of all of our past guests and new guests, too!
For anyone
who books before November 22nd, we will extend a 15%
early booking discount off the total lodging. Parts
of winter are already reserving fast, so please call 1-800-543-8001
when you know your plans.
When you
call to book your winter reservation, be sure to ask us about
discounted lift tickets. You can order tickets through us or
through Aspen Skiing Company. Just mention it when you call.
ASPEN
UPDATES
The most visible change to Aspen Mountain is the new gondola
cars. The cars are bigger and offer more views of the Roaring
Fork Valley. It is quite a thrill ride!
Aspen Highlands
opened up even more terrain in Deep Temerity. The Highlands
patrol boasts that the full run will exhaust even the most
experienced and in-shape athlete.
For the
Snowmass lovers, the construction of Base Village is moving
right along. It is a huge project and will finish…eventually.
Get ready for the new Elk Camp Gondola. It adds so much to
Snowmass, the #3 ski resort in North America!

LIFT
ONE UPDATES
As the ‘06 Summer came to a close, Kai resigned from
Lift One after 10 strong years. His presence is greatly missed
at Lift One but he is still involved in property management
in Aspen. We wish him luck in his future!
As everyone
knows by now, Lift One is currently undergoing a greatly needed
facelift. The doors will open to our guests for Christmas and
between this fall and next spring, the project will be completed.

progress. Also, you can book your reservation online on our
website. There is a “Book
Online” tab on the home page that directs you to
the reservation page. Feel free to give it a try and we’ll
get back to you within 3 days.

EVENTS
Aspen has many reasons to attract guests and the majority of
the reasons are the winter events. Like no other town, the
City of Aspen partners with other organizations, such as Aspen
Skiing Company, to create a season chalked full of diverse
and fun entertainment for every age and gender.
